Party + Party = No Sleep!

Hey Y'all!  Hope all is going well. This week has been awesome! It has been fiesta time in our area, Panagan, and it has been a blast. There have been singing contests, dance showdowns, and even a Miss Gay Pageant! Lets get into it. This week started out with a Mission Tour, a big meeting with all the missionaries in our mission, in Naga city. We were blessed to have Elder Bangeter, one of the General Authorities in our church, visit our mission. It was such a spiritual day and helped me realized that in our actions we see miracles. As we continue to have faith in Jesus Christ, and continue to follow him we will see the miracles, and the blessing in our life. I know this to be true. I have seen it time and time again whilst here on the mission. And while in Naga, we had a little time to spare before the meeting. So, we went exploring! A Typhoon in the Middle of Summer!

Hey yall!  What an absolute amazing week it has been! It has been filled with funny stories and crazy experiences. We started off this week having a great day of missionary work. We were teaching and serving the amazing people of the Philippines, when all of the sudden we got a call from the Zone Leaders. They told us a big Typhoon was on its way to hit our area... we were instructed to pack up for 3 days, and go to Lagonoy ( a bigger city outside of our area. ) We were told to not leave Lagonoy until instructed otherwise. So we didn't. As the night went on we were really expecting so to see a big typhoon start to take way, but it didn't happen. There was a little bit of rain fall and some wind but, that was it. The next day came by and there still was no typhoon... we were wondering what to do. Do we work? Do we go back to our area? We ended calling the Zone Leaders, and they said to stay in Lagonoy until everything had passed. So we stayed and worked in their area.  As a Dis...
